Alexandra Rose Raisman was born May 25, 1994. She is a retired American artistic gymnast. She was the American women's Olympic gymnastics team captain for both the 2012 and 2016 "Fierce Five" U.S. teams. In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she received a gold medal at the team competition as well as teammate Gabby Douglas the sole Americans who won back-to-back gold team medals. Raisman was also awarded silver medals in the individual all-around, as well as for the floor exercise. Raisman has silver medals from the individual all-around, in addition to the floor exercise. Morgan was born on July 2, 1989 , to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan. Morgan and her siblings Jeni and Jeri were raised in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles. Morgan was multisport throughout her childhood, however she began playing soccer at 14. Morgan was a member of the Cypress Elite club team and took home the Coast Soccer League under-16 championship. In addition, she placed third in the under-19 bracket. Morgan continued to refine her soccer skills in Diamond Bar High School. National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) chose her as an All-American Athlete. She also participated in the Olympic Development Division's regional and state divisions. Morgan continued her career in soccer at UC Berkeley. She led the California Golden Bears team's scoring in her first season.
