Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actor from Canada. She was the Teletoon children's comedy show Majority Rules' Becky Richards. From 2009 to 2010. She then starred as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson in the NBC post-apocalyptic science fiction show Revolution from 2012-2014, on which she received a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television. Annika Johnson played her part on the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos was a part of the cast as Detective Hailey Upton on the TV drama of A&E, Bates Motel. Spiridakos plays Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was the daughter of restaurant owners George Spiridakos and George Spiridakos who were both born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has two brothers. Her family relocated to Skala in Greece located south of Sparta, shortly after her birth. In 1992, they came back to Canada. Spiridakos is deeply connected to her Greek family and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school. She then attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg. Spiridakos moved to Winnipeg in 2007. She got her first television role on Supernatural within weeks. She worked in television for a few more years getting roles in Psych, The L Word, Hellcats and Bionic Woman. Spiridakos played the role in the TV movie Goblin and the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also played a regular part on Being Human as werewolf Brynn McLean.In 2009, she won her first lead role on the Canadian Teletoon series Majority Rules!, playing 15-year-old Becky Richards. In 2011, she made her debut as a feature film with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She also filmed Kill for Me, a low-budget thriller by Michael Greenspan. The film starred Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy, and was directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos was Sammi in Rags in Rags, the first Nickelodeon original movie. Then she was offered a leading role in the NBC TV series Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, one of the survivors in an unimaginative future society. She auditioned for the part while attending her first pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos produced the pilot in Atlanta, and filmed the pilot in Wilmington, North Carolina. Her performance on the initial season of the show nominated her for an Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. However, she lost to Fringe's Anna Torv. The second season was recorded in Austin, Texas.
