Piper Perabo
Piper Perabo has been nominated for an Golden Globe as a stage or TV actor. She was born in Dallas and grew up in New Jersey. The film featured her in Coyote Ugly's breakout role in 2000. Since then she has been featured in films such as Christopher Nolan's "The Prestige" with Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, "Because I Said So" with Diane Keaton and "First Snow" which starred Guy Pearce, "Cheaper by the Dozen" films starring Steve Martin, "Imagine Me and You" featuring Lena Heady and Matthew Goode and the crime thriller "10th and Wolf" with an ensemble cast which included James Marsden and Dennis Hopper. She appeared alongside Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Emily Blunt and Jeff Daniels in Rian Johnson's sci-fi action flick "Looper.". Perabo was Annie Walker's TV part in five seasons on the USA Network's spy drama "Covert Affairs." Following that she co-starred in ABC's legal drama "Notorious. She can be next seen on Netflix as "Turn Up Charlie", starring with IdrisElba. Perabo also made her Broadway debut in Neil LaBute's controversial play "Reasons to be Pretty" which was nominated to the Tony for Best Play. Beyond her acting on screen and stage, Perabo is also an activist. She's an activist and a Voice for the International Rescue Committee in order to spread awareness about the global refugee crisis and help those displaced by conflicts, persecution of religions and political oppression around the globe. Piper lives in Los Angeles, New York City. She graduated from Toms River High School North in 1994. She was part of the school's four musicals. In her senior year, she played Katie in Me In St. Louis, junior year she was Cousin Fan and Lady Brighton in Mame; the sophomore year was Lady Brighton and Lady Brighton respectively. And in freshman year she was a dancer and choreographer in How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. She was high school president of the National Honor Society as well as editor of the school's literary magazine, Polaris. In high school she was part of the Marinerettes as a dancer in the field show during the football games.
