Charisma Carpenter
Charisma Carpenter (born July 23rd, 1970) is an American actress from the United States. Cordelia Chase played the role as Cordelia in Buffy the Vampire Slayer's supernatural thriller (1997-1999) as well as its spin-off series Angel (1999-04). She was also a part-time actress in Charmed (2004) The Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablanca's (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell (2012-2013) and Lacy (2010-2012) Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada,[disputed - discuss] daughter of Christine the bird sanctuary worker and Don Carpenter, a salesman. Carpenter is of Spanish (from the maternal grandfather), French and German descent. Carpenter was a student at the Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas; she was also member of a dance and song group that performed in the Las Vegas Valley when she was nine years old.When Carpenter was 15, her family moved to Rosario Beach, Baja California, Mexico and then to San Diego, California. She attended Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter was a frequent traveler throughout Europe after graduating. Carpenter returned to San Diego in 1991 and was employed as an aerobics instructor, a videostore clerk, as well as a property manager. In 1991, she was employed as an official cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football team. In 1992, she moved to Los Angeles. She was swimming in San Diego with two male acquaintances when Henry Hubbard Jr., an ex-police officer from San Diego and serial rapist and a serial rapist, attacked them. Both of her friends and Hubbard were shot in the fight. Hubbard fled the scene but both of her companions were able to escape. Hubbard was arrested, tried, and convicted and sentenced to 56 years in prison for a series of rapes and robberies. Carpenter grabbed Hubbard's flashlight a police-issue flashlight, from the beach. The flashlight proved to be a vital element of evidence used against Hubbard.
