Sarah Chalke
Sarah Chalke was born on 27 August 1976 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Angie Chalke, and Doug Chalke are her parents. She is the middle child. She has one older sister, Natasha Chalke and one younger, Piper Chalke. Sarah made her acting debut with City Boy (1992), a made for television movie. After her first movie Sarah auditioned for the role as Becky in Roseanne (1988) in 1993. After Alicia Goranson left the show to go to college The show was looking for someone to replace her. Sarah completed her high school graduation in 1995, when she was filming the season 1994-1995 of Roseanne (1988). In 1994, Sarah starred alongside Jim Varney in Ernest Goes to School (1994). She starred in Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand against Fear(1996). In both films she played the part of Krista Wilson, an athlete. In 1998, a year after Roseanne (1988) ended, Sarah was asked to be a part of a show called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998). It was based on the show Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (2000), Sarah also participated in the show. The role was taken over by Becky in Roseanne (1988) from Alicia Goranson in 1993. She said she wanted to quit acting and pursue a degree in college. 2001 (1993-1997) She played Sara Gilbert's elder sister on Roseanne (1988) but, she is actually younger. Participated in 1999 CCMA awards ceremony and was awarded the award for the top single. September 1999 eight, appeared in Vancouver theater productions. She is fluent in French as well as German. She works at a hospice where children with terminal illnesses are treated and also works for the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund. In her spare moments, Chalke prefers cooking with her friends (especially Thai and sushi) playing guitar as well as hiking, skiing (she's an instructor), snowboarding, kayaking and reading. Her father is a lawyer and both her parents are mediators. They also manage a child adoption company. She traveled with her parents to China two years ago to assist in coordinating the adoptions of a lot of orphans.
