Debra Dunning
Debra Dunning
(born July 11 in 1966) is an American actress, model and television host. She
is also a spokesperson and comedienne. She is best known for the role of Heidi
on Home Improvement (1993-1999). Dunning was Heidi Keppert the "Tool Time
girl", on the ABC sitcom Home Improvement from season 3 until season 8,
and she also guest-starred in the previous season. She appeared in Dangerous
Curves (1988) and the American Gladiators Celebrity Challenge (1989) . Dunning
married American volleyball player Steve Timmons from 1997 to in the year. The
couple had three children together: Spencer Schae (born 1996) and Stoney (born
in 2000) respectively. She also played in the role of a support character in
the TV show "Home Improvement" which was one of her most important
pieces. The show aired from 1991 to 1999 and was a huge hit. It won numerous
awards, including an Golden Globe and twelve People's Choice Awards. It also
received a TV Guide Award. It was also nominated for numerous Emmys. Dunning
received the TV Land Award in 2009, which she shared with the other cast
members. Tim Allen and Patricia Richardson were also actors in the show. She
also appears in many films. In 1997, she was a supporting part in the sci-fi
thriller "Leprechaun 4 In Space". The film was directed by Brian
Trenchard Smith and received negative reviews.
